The geometrical inspection of the tire belongs to the standard tests recommended by most known OEMs. Due to mass and stiffness variations on a tire circumference, radial and lateral force deviations are caused. Radial- and lateral run-out means the geometric variations in the tire tread and sidewalls with respect to the nominal values.
