Dynamic Rolling Testing Machine (DRT)

• The machine frame is designed as a welded construction and mounted on vibration dampers. This means that no additional foundation is required.
• On the machine frame of the respective test bench side, the carriage is guided on precision linear units with mounted load cell and mounting spindle.
• The rolling radius and the offset are determined by a digital measuring system.
• The system is equipped with a safety cut-out which, in the event of defects, ensures that the machine returns to the home position and stops the load wheel and spindle with the test wheel.

• The contact and lateral forces are absorbed directly at the spindle bearing by force transducers (inmess patent). Slide friction and other negative influences therefore do not falsify the measured forces.
• The measured values are processed and fed to the measuring computer.
• The test plans are created in the measuring computer. The measured values are evaluated and visualized on a monitor.
• The test specifications, measurement results and other information are stored in a database for each individual test.
